Adv. Ravit Arbel serves as a senior advisor and heads the Competition Law and Regulation practice at our firm. Prior to joining the firm, she was a senior partner and headed the Regulation and Competition department at one of Israel’s largest law firms.

During these years, she was ranked by the international legal magazine Chambers Global and the Israeli Dun’s 100 as a leading lawyer in Competition and Antitrust. In the regulatory field, Ravit represents companies and business associations in legislative processes related to economic regulation, including significant sector-wide reforms, both in dealings with government ministries and in Knesset discussions.

Ravit has unique expertise in food regulation, being one of the drafters of the enabling law in Israel and a prominent partner in reforms in this field over the past decade.

Ravit has extensive experience representing clients before the Competition Authority and the Competition Tribunal, advising companies on mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, in hearing procedures, and in civil proceedings and class actions. Over the past 24 years, Ravit has led and accompanied clients in prominent cases in the field, acted as a representative of the business sector (Presidency of Business Organizations) regarding the Competition Law reform in 2019, was a member of the BIAC (Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD) Competition Law Committee between 2016-2021, and served as Acting Chair of the Antitrust Committee of the Israel Bar Association (2019-2021).

Additionally, in the regulatory field, Ravit has been involved in significant legislative reforms in the areas of food, energy, competition, import, and trade.

Ravit has a strong business orientation, and her legal counsel is characterized by business understanding and consideration of strategy, motivations, and economic incentives.
