David Martin is an associate lawyer and consultant in the Commercial Law Department at Weksler Bregman.
He is also a certified notary in Israel.
David specializes in commercial law, litigation, inheritances and most particularly in international transactions. His practise incorporates, inter alia, investment in the energy sector, US Army tenders, inheritance/investment disputes, real estate transactions and international arbitrations
His main clients are foreign investors and legatees.
David started his legal career in the USA where, for many years, he represented prominent bodies and institutions throughout the US in a range of complex, challenging transaction in which he acted on behalf of banks, brokerage firms, public corporations, private and governmental bodies – including Israel and Cuba.
Adv. Martin has unique experience in supporting his clients at courts and other instances for resolving disputes of an international nature.
David immigrated to Israel in 1980 where he has continued his legal and business activities, including by providing representation to his clients in courts and at arbitration proceedings – both in Israel and overseas – in many notable international transactions including the supply of fuel to the US military in Iraq and significant real estate developments.
In addition to his extensive work in commercial law and representing clients at various legal instances, David has served as chairman of the board of directors at Ya’Asur Ltd. and as an external director at various public companies, including Avgad Ltd., Evergreen Capital Markets and GFI Real Estate.
