Igal Kolof is a partner in the Commercial Department and the Mergers and Acquisitions Department at Weksler Bregman.

Igal has been practicing law for about 23 years, starting his career at the law firm immediately after completing his first year of studies at the Faculty of Law (he also claims to have accrued a few extra years of professional experience through dedicated TV series watching in the legal genre, although as yet, no consensus has been reached on that…).

For many years, Igal has represented some of the largest companies in Israel across various economic and industrial sectors. He has extensive experience representing companies in all aspects of their activities, from their daily operations to strategic corporate events, encompassing all types of commercial agreements, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, labor law, intellectual property, financing, and providing opinions on diverse legal matters. As a commercial lawyer focused on making deals happen, he prioritizes risk management over risk avoidance.

Yigal represented and supported: the controlling shareholders of the publicly quoted Top Group, in acquiring control about 15 years ago, and since then, in more than 20 mergers and acquisitions, which have made it one of the largest leading IT players in Israel; the Africa-Israel Hotels Group, over the last 20 years, both in changes of control in the Group, and in its process of expanding and opening new hotels; Rafak Energy in a wide variety of purchase and sale transactions of activities and companies in the field of renewable energy; Overall, Igal has provided representation in merger and acquisition transactions involving billions of shekels.
